Self-worth

Once in a while, I will find little notes, usually from a long time ago, forgotten. This morning, I found: "If you can not be happy with the Universe, then learn to fear the Universe." I can't say for certain what was on my mind when I wrote that, or even how long ago I wrote that. I do regret not dating such notes. Maybe I need to start dating them.


I took my boy out on my ATV on my Brother-in-Law's property today. It was fun We rode around quite a bit, until it got too hot because the sun was beating down on us. That is not so much fun. We were wearing our helmets and that made it hotter yet. Safety is important. I don't need to start preaching here. Enough others can do that just fine.


My older boy, 13, thought to get a bit of attention by talking out nefarious deeds, and I told him it was only okay to write about such stuff and only then responsibly. That was probably the wrong thing to say. I suspect he things writing is a waste of time. He may be write? See what I did there? I laughed, so I suppose it is all worth it...
