"It's the GONG SHOW.. Still works." Ed cleaned the sprinkler piping.
"I like that Simon guy..(Um) and his judge friends.
The best parts are when a super singer comes out of nowhere.
You know the girl and that guy and the hula hoops.." Heather fidgeted.
They were busy setting up a fire sprinkler.

A yellow glow filled the room. Heather squinted at the glowing entity.
"I am Yauni .. from the new Atlantis." the slight lady spoke softly.
"Ah. Hi. I'm Ed what can I do for you?" Ed extended his hand for a hand shake.
Yauni made a Buddhist prayer gesture; "Can you tell me how to be a contestant
on the X Factor?"

Heather stretched as she ran her fingers through her hair.. .
She shrugged and Googled it on her phone.
"That's the app .." Heather smiled and showed Yauni the app.
"I see. Good and thank you. I think this will be the most pleasant way to
make first contact." Yauni gave a toothy smile.

"What's your talent?" Heather returned the toothy smile.
"I do many bird calls and I can levitate." Yauni tweeted and levitated.
"That's great. You should make it to the final round." Ed said and tried for
a hand shake again .. It was not returned.
"Your people worship celebrities, like God's in times lost." Yauni smiled.

"Don't get me started on Jesus the E.T." Ed chuckled.
Yauni's eyes twinkled, "He lives in Atlantis."
Heather and Ed held each other as a chill passed through them.
"He likes to play the guitar and sing country songs." Yauni sipped some tea.
Heather had made some tea.
