Sisterhood

Daughters of the planet Earth,
         Together we rise or fall,
In our labor of creation,
         For we are sister all.

Contributing each in our turn,
         Together we rise or fall,
To the gene or thought pool of humankind,
         For we are sister all.

Through our pain humanity evolves,
         Together we rise or fall,
As we give birth to child or idea,
         For we are sister all.

At a crossroad in history,
         Together we rise or fall,
We watch the four horseman approach,
         For we are sister all.

Placing ourselves at the junction,
         Together we rise or fall,
We sacrifice ourselves for humanity,
         For we are sister all.
