November the twenty-seventh – Part One of Chapter One?
Part One of Chapter One?

I’m not sure of what I want to say with this Blog entry. Except that I did work on Part One of the first chapter of my Wandita Chapter novel today. I started shortly after I got up at noon today. Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much of it done before I had to start doing my normal Monday day off obligations like paying bills, shopping for food, etc.

What does all this mean? It means I didn’t really get into my writing today until it was almost the evening. That did slow me down a lot, but not that much. I still have gotten quite a bit done. Not as much as I wanted to do, but a lot more than it looked like what I was going to do. There are two other reasons why I didn’t do as much as I wanted to do today.

One reason is my opening paragraphs. I knew how I wanted to start it with a conclusion for my Introduction cliffhanger, but I didn’t have know exactly how to do it. It took me a long time to do than, and numerous changes, but I finally got my first few opening paragraphs. Unfortunately, it took me several hours to do it. So, I didn’t get too much of part one done today. I only got about half of it done, if that much.

I probably would have gotten a lot more of it done, if not the rest of it if it wasn’t for reason number two. Had to spend some time creating my Introduction Chapter for my Jessica Strong novel. Only got two parts of it done because it takes a lot of time for me to convert it into WDC formatting so that it looks like my Word document.

Another reason is this Blog entry and my latest prompt for my Daily One Scene Contest, but that doesn’t take up too much of my time. The contest takes only a few minutes. This Blog entry only takes about a half hour to do. That’s why I don’t consider it a reason for me not getting more written today.

What about today? I’m going to continue working on Chapter One for my Wandita novel. Because of not getting as much done as I wanted to get done today, will I still be able to get it done by the end of this month? The answer to that question is, yes and no. I still might get it done, but will I get it done by the end of the most in time to post it to my Novel Folders on WDC?
