Faith Defined
1
Faith Defined

Fear overcome by prayers reveal by the Blessed Beauty,
Ability enhanced through the focus of the
Individual on the writing of the Glory of God.
Teaching the Cause of God to humanity,
Happiness is obedience to the Lord of Host.

2
Certitude's Prayer

I rest secure
in Thy Covenant, O Lord,
safe from idle fancy's darts
and vain imaginings illusions.

3
Faith

I ascend
without wings,
climbing away from
the crippling bonds of earth
to float upon cold hydrogen.

I inhale
deeply of the void
knowing subatomic particles
merge to form oxygen atoms
to fill my lungs.

I walk
through the darkness of interstellar space
watching stars coalesce,
planets aggregate,
and life emerge.

I listen
to the echoes of creation,
the music of the stars,
songs of the planets,
and the voices of civilizations.

4
Threshold of Faith

If God shuts one door,
He opens another.

Irish Proverb

Did God shut a door?
Did He say no to your material desires,
Quenching your hope's fires;

He has opened another door!
He is the door to eternity,
Whose Manifestation is the handle or reality.

5
Affirmative

Today
I will demonstrate
the three aspects of faith.

Today
I will manifest
implicit obedience.

Today
I will exhibit
whole-hearted allegiance.

Today
I will show forth
uncompromising adherence.

Today
I will demonstrate
faith's aspect for Baha'u'llah.

6
Ivory Candles

Nine ivory candles
On humanity's mental
Glow with the flame of God's love.

7
Faith

Faith is a multicolored flower,
Whose fragrances wafts beyond the bower,
An exquisite blossom for all to see,
Who look beyond life's obscurities.

Faith is an ancient wine,
Aged in the vats of time,
And a newly created star,
Its atoms beginning to catch fire.

Faith is a secret hidden,
Within the hearts of men,
And a proclamation,
Spread throughout the nation.

With the dawn of each new day,
Those seeking faith shall find their way,
What was hidden in the night,
Will be made clear in the light.

8
Morning Prayers

In the cold darkness,
I call His name.

Out of the east,
He comes
bringing the sun.

9
Faith, Hope, and Sorrow

Faith sees beyond the veil
that hides from mortal eyes
the gate to paradise.

Hope sees opportunities
in each day's difficulties.

Sorrow sees only
the missing puzzle pieces
and tries to drawn her grief.

10
Morning Mist

Prayers rise
from the lips of the faithful,
to greet the Beloved.

11
Cone of Silence

I read Thy words in silent meditation,
Around me forms Thy cone of silent peace,
Outside the world is screaming chaos,
Inside I float upon Thy calm smooth sea.

12
Ruth Knew

Ruth knew
blood ties aren't strong
knew the slightest tug can loosen them.

Ruth knew
the ties of faith hold fast
even in the most furriest storm.
