Beauty, seen through the eyes of a child,
Lays in the little things of childhood.
A fleeting memory of a house on a street named
College: A street on which there was once a Community College.
Knowledge, comprehended through the mind of a child, is
Wisdom that an adult doesn't understand.
Each story==remembered, retold, reembellished--becomes a
Legend, that the next generation perceives as myth:
Legend has it that Bonnie and Clyde stayed in town overnight.

Outside of all possibilities--I
Keep returning to my lost childhood. I keep
Looking for the moment that brands the demarcation point.
A specific time when legend became myth, reality illusion, and
History fantasy.
Only through memories can the reality of childhood be relived!
My Grandpa Newland worked at a Zinc Smelter;
And Bridge was the street that crossed the Chacaskie River.
