Hymns of Peace

The hymns of peace ring out today,
From desert sands and city towers,
They call mankind to a new way.

While nations at their war game splay,
Displaying military powers,
The hymns of peace ring out today.

New weapons nations use today,
That plant the atoms terrible flowers,
And call mankind to a new way.

As hate grows stronger day by day,
Beneath its shadow humanity cowers,
The hymns of peace ring out today.

The prejudices of yesterday ,
Grow more evil with the passing hours,
And call mankind to a new way.

Peace is humanity's new way,
It protects all of mankind's flowers,
The hymns of peace ring out today,
And call mankind to a new way.
