Melting Pot: To America

Melting Pot:
To America

Abundant waves of immigrants stretching back into antiquity;
Migrated over land bridge, oceans, and air currents to create an
Evolving culture of independent democratic states;
Ruled by the ideal that humankind is created equal.
Ideal opposes reaity,
Creating a bubbling cauldron on the verge of overflowing into
A holocaust of misunderstanding and fear.

The fruits of freedom engender arguments concerning its meaning.
How do you create a unified nation, when
Each individual independently defines liberty?

Beastliness results from too liberal a definition of liberty!
Education in the fine art of spirituality
Allows humanity to advance--carry forward civilization.
Understanding is engendered
Through the total acceptance of the oneness of humanity.
Independence is obedience to the laws of God;
Firmness in His Covenant the
Ultimate freedom:
Love of humanity overshadows love of country.
