Who Am I and Maker of Cloth
Who Am I?

Who dwells in this body
created by the conjunction of sperm and egg?

Am I only a composition of nature?

What animates
these atoms in love with themselves?

Does a soul give my body life?

Creation of God or composition of nature?
Why can't this answer be both?

Maker of Cloth:
A Metaphor

On the loom of existence,
I weave the pattern of my life.

On the loom of verse,
I wave the pattern of my thoughts.

On the loom of actions,
I weave the pattern of my faith.
