Something is Still Wrong with My Secret Project
Something is Still Wrong with My Secret Project

I accomplished a lot with my secret project yesterday despite it being a typical Thursday at work. But I may start it over from the beginning again. Why am I thinking about doing that? It’s because there is still something wrong with it. I don’t know what it is. But there is something wrong. I just need to figure out what it is.

I came to this realization a couple of hours before the end of my shift at work yesterday. And I have been thinking about it ever since then. Especially, on my way home from work. I do some of my best writing going to and from work. No, I’m not physically doing any writing while driving. But I do think about it. I can come up with an entire Short Story, novel, novel chapter, script, script scene, etc. while in route to or from work. But by the time I get to writing it, I can’t remember a lot of it. Sometimes I forgot most of it.

Why am I babbling as I did in my last paragraph? It’s because I think that I may know what that something is now. I’m just not sure if I want to do it or if I want to find another way to solve my latest problem. On one hand, I want to do it because I will be more like the rest of the writers. I have already done it some with these Blog entries and some of my short stories. But this is a lot bigger than those. I’m not sure if I’m ready to go Cold Turkey just yet.

What am I writing about now? I’m writing about being like most, if not all, other writers. Especially, those on WDC. I’m starting to start using the same words to start two or more sentences or paragraphs in a row. I’m also starting to use the words ‘but’ and ‘and’ to start a sentence within a paragraph. Especially the word ‘but.’ I’m not using the word ‘and’ to start too many. But I have a few. I know that some writers use them to start paragraphs too. but I haven’t. I don’t think that I ever will do that no matter how much I want to be like other writers.

On the other hand, I may want to try to come up with another solution to my problem. The only problem with doing that is that its more time wasted on numerous re-writes when I should be writing. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. I’ll think more about it and decide when I get to work today. I will probably go with my first hand. But then again I might not.
