Morning Star:
To The Bab

He rose
ahead of the sun
proclaiming the approach of dawn.

Radiating
the splendor of the Almighty,
He ascended into the firmament of faith.

His celestial grandeur
frightened
the inhabitants
of the cities of dogma,
who attempted
to put out His light
with the arrows of hate.
