Would you rather live a boring, long life or an exciting, short life?
Would you rather be able to fly or teleport?
Would you rather be able to only time travel to the past or only time travel to the future?
Would you rather lose your hearing or your sight?
Would you rather live the rest of your life as a cat or a dog?

I Would Rather

I would rather be a fish than a snail,
I would rather be a mermaid than a whale,
I would rather swim in the oceans of Earth,
Than walk the dry land of my birth.

I would rather go to Mars,
Or take a spaceship to the stars,
Than deal with Earth's continues wars

To live a long and boring life,
One must avoid all stress and strife,
And learn to teleport themselves or fly
Away into the clear blue or cloudy sky.

I travel into the future everyday,
As I move forward from yesterday into today.
Each second moves me forward into tomorrow,
Carrying with it my happiness and sorrow.

Age is a good equalizer,
It gives you excuses to be wiser,
As both sight and hearing slip away,
You can pretend you didn't hear what your enemies say.

Would I rather be a cat or a dog?
I think I'd rater be a dat or a cog,
A cross between a cat and a dog.
