Writing and Silence
Prompt: "Writing is a struggle against silence." Carlos Fuentes Joy asked us about our thoughts on this.

I think some people do better writing then talking. Some can do both. Sometimes, an article about Kate and Meghan fighting, actors divorcing, slams against the President, all these tabloid things are hurtful. People love gossip and there is no silence here.

Some people don't like to argue and fight, so they write stuff in journals and this makes them feel better. This has worked for me. When you have to be silent like at a job or situations, write in a journal and this is how to let your feelings out. Writing for a living like a reporter, you report the facts and not your opinion. How many times has one stressed their own opinion? All the time! Silence is golden but freedom of the press is on the rise! Me. I write things in my journal that are personal and no one gets hurt. This is how I see things. Some of us don't want to hurt others. I write fictional stories. I won't hurt anyone this way. I write Blog entries and try to express my views in a positive way. Writing is a struggle against silence. I can be silent. I get in less trouble that way.
