Run Boy Run By Woodkid
Prompt: Run Boy Run By Woodkid

This is a strange video. A little boy is running and falls. A monster picks him up, sets him down and gives him a sword. Other monsters are chasing him and the poor kid keeps running. It is dark and there are tall buildings in mountains and he keeps running. The song tells him to run. As I watched this, I was thinking of how we face demons everyday and look for answers and it feels like we are running and we just have to keep going. I pray everyday. We never know what we will face or the day will bring. Problems are always there and we have to face them.

This song is different. The little boy will be safe if he makes it to the big building and the video ends with him being at the door of a tall building. This building must mean safety when the boy gets there and gets inside. Crows were flying above him in the beginning and crows and ravens bring bad omens at times or maybe they are warning us. They can be scary. I like to think the crows were trying to help him and warn him of danger as he keeps running.

I don't know if I like this song or not. It has a good message. Face your demons, pray and fight. We will win out.
