Wayfarer on the Path of Faith
A wayfarer on the path of faith,
I put behind me dogma's dark wraith,
I asked the Lord to illumine my path,
And protect me from doubts fearsome wrath.

My goal was to find God's promised one,
Whose face had shown brighter than the sun,
In a dream that woke me in day's first light,
And sent the fears of night into flight.

When I read the beautiful words,
Revealed by Baha'u'lllah, I know I heard,
The the Holy Spirit calling me to a new life,
Free of prejudice and religious strife.
