Not What I Expected at Work Yesterday
Not What I Expected at Work Yesterday

I’ve got a couple of very good reasons why I’m writing this blog entry a little bit early than I usually do. One is related to work. And the other one has to do with WDC. The one that has to do with the WDC is the main reason why I’m doing it. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not blaming WDC for anything. It’s all my fault. But they are one of the reasons for this blog entry being a little early today, though.

The reason why I am writing that WDC is one of the reasons for this blog entry is that I only got a few hours of sleep last night. I got about five hours. If I’m lucky. And I don’t think I was quite that lucky last night. Why does this read like I blame WDC? It’s because of their monthly Short Story contest. It’s my fault that it took me so long to enter it again this month. But the reason why I didn’t get too much sleep last night is because of WDC. Does all this make any sense to you either?

Work is the second reason why I’m writing this blog entry now. It wasn’t what I expected it to be yesterday because it was a million times worse than I thought that it would be. I was on my feet about half of my shift. And it was probably a lot more than that. But I’m only supposed to be on them for about fifteen minutes an hour because of my disability. True, I wasn’t on them constantly. That would have been even worse. But I was on them every minute or two. Most of the time it was every few seconds.

It’s not just my feet, though. I had a big problem while there. one of those problems that you must write up an Incident Report on. Combined with my feet I didn’t get too much writing done yesterday on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I only got about ten sentences written yesterday. It was that busy at work. Only I’m not done yet. the AC still hasn’t been fixed in that post. So, I was very uncomfortable too. In fact, I had trouble breathing all shift because of my asthma problem.

Today I’m back at my old post again. So, I should have a lot more time to work on my writing. True, I still have work to deal with. And it can be very busy on Thursdays sometimes. But lately, it hasn’t been. I’m hoping this will be like them. If it isn’t too busy at work today, I should be able to get a lot of writing done. I don’t know how much of the Treatments that I will get be able to get started on. But I should be able to do it. I’ve only got one Outline episode left to do. And that should take too long to do. At least it shouldn’t. A lot of that depends on how much work I must do at work.
