Is Columbus Day an angry holiday?

Did Columbus discover South America or Central America?
America Vespucci named North, South and Central America after himself.
But, Columbus came first!
Or was it Leaf Ericson?
A lot of people crossed the ice bridge between Russia and Alaska..
But, they weren't Russian ..
Russia and Alaska didn't exist then.
Mormons have found Egyptian artifacts in caves in Ohio.

Anywho, I try to stay off the roads on Columbus Day.
The drivers are very angry.
Why don't we have an America Vespucci Day!
That would cover both American continents.
You'd still have angry drivers.

It's a vicious circle.
When I lived in Cambridge, Massachusets,
Columbus Day was Indigenous People Day.
But, the traffic was still miserable.
I've always worked on Columbus Day.
I try not to drive much.
There is just too much road rage.

I don't think its Columbus's fault. ...
