Lost One Precious Thing
Prompt: Joy asked what is one precious thing from the past do we feel that we have lost.

We had a house fire. We replaced the house and everything and I have a lot of nice things. I feel that something is lost. My other house had an coat closet and I liked the kitchen better. The new house has a neat room addition I love and I have a nice collection of things. I lost some dolls, some neat things in my kitchen but I did save my Wedding pictures, my son's Wedding pictures and all my pictures and my Titanic glass ornaments among some of my dolls and Teddy Bear dishes.

I have moved forward but I did lose a house and still think about it. I think about my grandparents I lost, the old school they tore down, stores that closed and life changed. Some small towns have become big towns almost cities. I miss the small towns that are now like cities. I am glad for old TV Shows because it is a way to hang on to the past. I am a Christian and I am thankful for that. I will never stray from God and I don't want my past back from 40 years ago. That I can do without and would never miss. Some things can just stay lost in the past or the Twilight Zone!
