After 3 months my American Flyer toy train is repaired!

Recently, I sent one of my trains to be repaired.
The motor was replaced with a modern Lionel motor.
I have an American Flyer train set.
I wrote in the note email, "Replace the motor with A.F.."
The front trucks of the engine were missing ..
I wrote, "Please replace the front trucks."
The trucks were not replaced.

But, it is fun to see dad's old train running again.
I remember dad unpacking the trainset wrapped in newspaper.
He'd run the train on his den rug.
The train had a smoker and train lamp.
The lights were dimmed in the den so we could watch the illuminated train.
The sent of the train smoke and click of the switches fill my nostalgia.
There is a train horn throttle that hooks into the transformer
that makes a soulful horn.
