May a Priest refuse his services to those who cannot pay?

The Apostle Paul stated, "Know you not that they who work
in the holy place eat the things that are of the holy place;
and they that serve the altar partake with the altar?
So also the Lord ordained that they who preach the Gospel
should live by the Gospel."(1 Cor.9:13-14)

Many televangelists preach tithing.
They believe that money can be used for miracles.
I like to donate to St. Judes and the Shriners.
But, I am skeptical of televangelists, who ask for a private jet.
They expect the congregation to pay for it.

Jesus overturned the money-changing tables in the Temple.
My dad was told by the Priest to write a check to the church he attended
or he would have to find another church.+
Dad wrote checks for hundreds of dollars to this church,
because the Priest said the Latin Mass.

We lived a block away from a Novas Ordo Church that said the Mass in English
and they took cash.
But, dad insisted on driving miles away to partake of the Latin Mass for a check.
I queried, "Didn't Jesus speak arabmaic?"
Dad said in a low voice, "The Latin Mass is the Roman Catholic Mass."

Imagine if Neil Degrassi Tyson is right and the universe came from nothing.
Religion would be wrong to worship a God or Gods who may not exist.
I say may not, because these sky gods might be advanced alien races.
My dad didn't like Star Trek, "It's liberals in space attacking God."
He was right, science questions everything including religious dogma.

That's my two cents.
