Is it possible to pound too hard
On this rented podium?
Can't take my words back.
I have hammer and nails
And biceps that would sweat
For the women who swoon
And jealous men who don't dare
Compare to compete
With the likes of me because
The game is fixed
And I must go home
Now that the rant pales
Without proper amplification

Words won't hit their mark
In your arena. Though
I see the fixed eye --
The sidelong stare and
Maybe there is hope
I'll get out of here
If I ever find a bigger arena
Someone who will tout
The likes of me.
