Holy Relics: To The Bab

Holy Relics:
To The Bab

It is their association
with the Divine Manifestation
that gives them meaning
and makes them sacred.

In themselves
the objects have no special power,
rather it is their connection
with the Bab that--
to the believer--
makes them symbols
of His sacrifice
and of God's love
for humanity.

His prayer beads,
His Qur'an,
the robe that He wore,
His signet ring,
cap He wore
beneath His green turban,
and His brazier and samovar
all proclaim
the truth of His existence.
