It was common knowledge, but most people didn't know it.

Numbers Chapter 5: 14-21 is a Rabbinical abortion..
Every Christmas I enjoy the Christmas movies, like Star Wars.
I also enjoy Bible contradiction with popular Christian dogma.
Christian Fundamentalists insist that the Bible condemns abortion.
But, there is a Rabbinical ritual for abortion in Numbers Chapter 5:14-21.
Why would a Rabbi perform an abortion?
Well in those days women were property as were their unborn child.
A jealous husband could take his wife to a rabbi for an abortion(Num.Ch 5:20-22).

Of course, Christians can make up their own rules.
Saint Agustin wrote, "It is through women that evil entered the world."
That sounds like Saint Agustin did not like women, but he had children...(?)
The celibacy rule was implemented in the Middle Ages by Pope Beninifat, who had illegitimate children.
Many wicked Popes had mistresses, who they disguised as Nuns.
There is a legend about a female Pope in the Middle Ages, she disguised her gender..(Transgender Pope?)
Anywho, the Popes were corrupted by power and crony politics.
A wealthy Lord could buy into the Papacy.

In Genesis, there are two creation stories of Adam and Eve.
Genesis 2:21-23 is the most popular creation story; Eve came out of Adam from his rib.
This denies the right of Eve to give birth to Adam.
However, Genesis 1:27 states,

"God created man in his to his own image; to the image of God
he created them; male and female he created them."

That seems to be saying men and women are equal before God.
Or maybe men have a masculine and feminine nature.
Clearly, the rest of the Old Testament Bible treats women as the property of men.
Women are listed with a man's cattle.. Men could, therefore, have mistresses and concubines.
Abram used his slave girl Agar to have a son.
This was his right since he believed his wife Sarai was too old to bear him an heir.
Agar gave Abram a son Ismael and he was 13 years old when Sarai was with child.
Sarai was 82 years old when she bore Isaac.
Sara asked Abraham to cast out Agar and Ismael.

"Isaac and Ismael will become like Cain and Able," Sara said.

Agar and Ismael were spared death by the Lord in the desert.
Agar purchased an Egyptian wife for Ismael.
They dwelt in Palestine.

Reflections~If the soul is preordained by God, then abortion is part of God's divine plan.

Merry Christ-Mass and a happy Hanukka!
