High Hopes By Panic At The Disco
High Hopes By Panic At The Disco

Written for the 48 Hour Media News Hour

You talk about climbing to the top. This guy sings about only one in a million making it to the top and he wants to follow his mother's advice. He is walking down the street and stops and walks up a building singing and keeps walking. Is he a superhero? Does he suction cups on his shoes? I know it is just a trick for the video. This video is neat.

Do I want to make it to the top?
Do I walk up the side of a high
building and pray I don't fall?
No one can walk up a building.

Go to school, college and learn
what you can. Work hard at a job,
be honest and do your best. Love
your job and try to have a good life.

Be careful, not to fall. You can work,
have fun and have a life. Work and money
isn't everything. Do your best, pray for
guidance and enjoy what you have in life.

Making it to the top? Having enough money
to be comfortable should be enough. I decided
I don't want it to make it to the top. I am
content with what I have and I have everything.

The guy I the video walks up the side of the building.
I enjoyed this song and this is another reason why
I wouldn't to live in the city. Life is good in the
country. I am happy with what I am and what I have.
