Day 9 Exciting stuff...

What is your first memory of being really excited?

This is a HARD question to answer. I don't know why, it shouldn't be, but it just is. I think it's because there's so much stuff I used to get excited about when I was a kid.

I have my first-ever diary still, and when I read back over it, every day was exciting even if it was boring. I was like a puppy.

When I was a kid, I remember being really excited when my mother would come to visit (I wasn't raised by her). I remember being excited to visit my aunt in Hawaii, cause duh, Hawaii. And my aunt is pretty cool. I remember being really excited when I found out the first boy I had a crush on liked me back. All pretty standard excitement stuff.

It would be awesome if we could keep all those feelings of easily-induced excitement into adulthood. I mean, I suppose some people do, and that's amazing. Maybe I'll go look for those people and hang out with them all the time- it may rub off...
