Living your own life means helping others
Ever feel like you have lost a friend when people you have interacted with on WDC haven't been active in a really long time? I sometimes wonder if this makes us hesitate to make new friends, then, I think: NO WAY! Kindness belongs to anybody strong enough to give it.

I arrived home from work today, Day 1 of no school because of the C. Virus, and had groceries to bring in after stopping at Walmart's Pickup service, which rocks, by the way! Did you know you could get 10 dollars for yourself and 10 for the person you referred (Using the app, of course)?

Anyway, I came into the house and my 13 year old was sitting in the chair, so I told him to get on his coat and shoes. He was going to help me. Being that my boy is special needs, he got a big smile and started stimming. Yes, he was happy to help. Sure, I would have been done a lot faster had I just done it myself, but it wouldn't have been nearly as gratifying. Truth is, I remember watching a television show with a fully grown man who was special needs who was thanking his parents for their patience in helping him, or not helping him while he figured things out. I was touched by this. I hope you are too.
