Amor
Writing.com Prompt: “I like you crazy," he said

I don’t think this is good enough to go into my port, so I’ll probably just leave it here. I may make this into a scene in a stupid short love story I’ve been writing for close to a year; if only if I can get my muse to talk to me again. I made her mad I think, ignoring her and all that. This has problems, and I kind of hate it but it’s 3:30 in the morning. Which is to say, I don’t know what this is, and I blame it on lack of sleep.

“I like you crazy," he said;
the smirk wide
on his cherry red,
full, beautiful lips.

His words were pure velvet,
purring out of him like
a cat asking for attention;
soft and tantalizing,
warm and inviting.

“Why?”

Your eyes, deep pools of green,
a symphony of colors that shine
with every passing glance you make;
curiously stared up at his azure ones.

A blush crept upon your cheeks
as he slipped behind you and
wrapped his arms around
your small and tiny waist
to whisper the words in your ear.

“Because it’s adorable,
and I love you.”
