Considering I’m getting a bit heavy with my writing, I decided to lighten the mood with my take on today’s prompt.

The flowers of May,
they bloom with quite
intoxicating, heavenly
and colorful petals.

Their beauty is known
far and wide in the nations
we all call our wonderful home.

Orange, yellow, pink,
blue, red, white, green;
these are the flowers
that bloom in the
month of May.
