Ode to Coffee

Coffee
glorious coffee
how I love thee
in all your forms

dark expresso coffee
instant coffee
corporate coffee
non-establishment coffee

coffee in the morning
coffee at midnight
keeps me going
until the dawn’s early light

even decafe coffee
unfortunately the coffee
I need these days
caffeine wires me too much

coffee I will love you
can’t do without you
until my dying breath
I will scream must have my coffee
