Mary HAD a Little Lamb

Mary took her little lamb
to city on a spree.

Instead, she found unruly mob
creating misery.

When silence treated same as guilt
by rabid fanatics,

they thrust agenda to the hilt
with frenzied dramatics.

They shouted chants and spread the word
in crude graffiti ways.

Mary's frantic screams went unheard
when horde set shops ablaze.

Lamb's fate was sealed by destiny
so grievance be addressed.

Mob burned the pet so all can see
in the name of "unrest."
