Sunset Cover

When dusk comes and the sun will set
Witness the beauty, and you won't regret
The nature's transition, a magnificent view
As it goes to slumber and bids adieu.

Gulls shoot like arrows piercing through crimson skies
They leave the fields in a rush and raucous byes.
I lie on the strand and watch the shift of scene
Of nature's grandest display in a widescreen.

A calm sea casts its tiny folds
Like turning pages of stories untold.
While cold breeze brings soft caress
Tickles my feet with its gentle press.

The shining ball plunge on the line
Leaving myriad hues on its place behind
Of bloody red, vibrant orange and tint of ocher
With various colors of gold to dark umber.

A lone sailboat hastily breasts the sea
It was once was huge, now I can't see.
From afar, it vanish 'neath the thread
I wonder if it feels not a single dread.

The nature starts to pull down its curtain
One thing for sure, one thing for certain
Don't feel sad, feel not a pain,
'Cause it reveals its splendor back again.

Rewrite attempt #1:

Dusk drapes the sky, a velvet hood,
Sun's embers whisper, understood.
Nature's farewell, a grand ballet,
From fiery stage to starry sway.

Above the crimson, gulls take flight,
Their farewell cries pierce fading light.
On sandy shores, I watch the show,
A masterpiece in nature's glow.

Calm waters fold in gentle sighs,
Like whispered secrets, lullabies.
A cool breeze whispers on my skin,
A gentle touch where seas begin.

The sun's last kiss, a fiery brand,
Stains the clouds with a painted hand.
Blood red bleeds to orange bright,
Gold brushed with umber, fading light.

A lone sailboat, a specter's grace,
Once a giant, now lost in space.
Beneath the horizon's silver thread,
Does it fear the darkness, cold and dread?

The curtain falls, the stage awaits,
But fret not, friend, for this is fate.
The sun will rise, reborn and bold,
This story whispered, ages old.

Rewrite attempt #2:

As twilight drapes the world in velvet hush,
A fiery symphony erupts above, a blush.
Nature's grand finale, a canvas vast and wide,
Where sun bids farewell, in hues of sunset pride.

Seagulls, black arrows, pierce the crimson sky,
Their cries a farewell chorus, soaring high.
I lie upon the sand, a witness to the show,
Nature's epic spectacle, where shadows ebb and flow.

The calm sea murmurs secrets, page by page,
Whispered waves unfold, a tale of endless age.
A cooling breeze, a lover's gentle hand,
Caresses skin and whispers through the land.

The burning orb dips low, a fiery tear,
Leaving a tapestry of colors, bright and clear.
Crimson bleeds to orange, ochre's warmth ignites,
A symphony of gold, where twilight takes its flight.

A lonely sailboat, once a giant proud,
Now shrinks and fades, beneath the darkening shroud.
Vanishes it does, beneath the horizon's rim,
Does it feel no fear, lost in the ocean's whim?

Nature's curtain falls, a sigh upon the breeze,
But fear not, friend, for beauty finds release.
Tomorrow's dawn will paint the sky anew,
With vibrant brushstrokes, just for you.
