The Climax

A seasoned trailhand, who knows the land and the cattle, resents a woman trail boss. He couldn't be trusted to do the job (he'd steal the herd or the money), When Vickie was going after a lone calf, he went after her and tried to overcome her. She wrestled him, but he was stronger. Fortunately, a teenage hand came looking for her and got in the scuffle. She could then draw her gun. She confessed that she needed him to much to fire him, and quietly she figured it would be safer to keep him close and watch him. She threatened to shoot him in his manhood if he ever touched her again.
