Why is my tongue so short?
My dog can lick her nose.
So can my cat.
They can lick almost their entire bodies.
They can almost lick the back of their own heads.
My tongue is puny.
I can only reach my lips.
I can barely graze my chin.
Then there is my poor dry nose.
No matter how I cross my eyes.
Not even if I press my nose down,
My tongue will never reach it.
It isn't fair.
I have heard there are some people who can.
But for me it is unattainable.
