Sing "Happy Birthday" to my wife!
What Joy abounds through all my days!
My hopeful heart and wondrous life
regard this one my smile displays.

My wife in beauty always grows.
Her youthfulness defies the years.
The world can't see what my heart knows.
That teen, I met, each day appears.

Sing "Happy Birthday" with the voice.
Proclaim this bliss throughout the land.
The best for me is my lone choice.
This lady with her lifelong man.

So glad am I my wife was born,
surviving struggle to the light.
Umbilical the neck had worn.
No oxygen, her birthing plight.

Sing "Happy Birthday." Praise the Lord,
who one day brought her to my arms.
We worship weekly in His Word,
His great defense from all alarms.

My gifted lass with artful skill
creates a painting, darns some pants.
She lifts my life with joy to fill,
and favors me each day she grants.

Sing "Happy Birthday" to my wife!
What Joy abounds through all my days!
My hopeful heart and wondrous life
are better through each word she says.
