Will a girl be able to forgive her tormentor after seeing he's changed?
"It's kinda scary to think that had we met earlier in life, you would have been the kind of person I grew up being afraid of."

Inspired by a conversation with my new boyfriend the day we went out on our first date and written for National Novel Writing Month, this is the story of Ava Stevenson and Jason Underwood. The pair grew up together in the same small town, going to the same elementary school. He was a bully and she was his victim. After they both moved away while in high school, they find themselves at the same college at the same time. Jason's changed for the better but Ava still harbors some resentment. When she inadvertantly catches his attention during a pub night, her friends convince her to make him fall in love with her and break his heart to get back at him. When she realizes that he's not the same guy he used to be, will she be able to forgive him or will she throw away a chance at true love?
