I had the most amazing experience with a honey bee. I was sitting outside when I was still in Jersey. A honey bee was flitting around my strawberry plants and I was waiting to water the plant after the bee moved. It finally did and when I began watering it came back and flew in and out of the spray. When I stopped it landed on my hand with the hose in it. I didn't dare move. For those few seconds I felt the bees energy. The wings were like a soft caress.
I don't know if it was the same bee that visited again when I watered but the bee was never afraid of me.

Watching the monsoon from indoors must be some experience! Coffee and a good book is always a nice choice. I like rain and sunshine, both in bearable doses, however.

Don't worry about a prayer limit, there isn't one. We could say a thousand prayers a day for a year and still not reach a prayer limit. God's mercy is unlimited and so is the amount of prayers we say.

Awww! Northeast Spring! Lucky you!

You took me back to 30 plus years ago, plus the five senses...
Everything seemed to come alive after the cold winters, there.

And yes, I used to love autumn, too. We don't have that array of colors when the leaves are changing here in down south, at all. I think I miss northern autumns more than its springs.

I've worked with a lot of men over the years, I found they appreciated me being open about what I knew and what I didn't.

Lemon meringue and key lime were my grammy's specialty. I never mastered making them myself. I agree with your hubby about Maine blueberries, they're the best. I'm prejudice about blueberries, I'm a Mainer or as we call ourselves Mainacs.

I had a hard time to figure out what intimidates me, also, and I could only point a finger to myself.
Working with men has its good points, I think. Mostly, anyway. In my dealings with men, I found out that they appreciated it when I told the truth instead of faking any know-how.

The love between a mother and child is phenomenal. A gift that never stops giving and receiving.

My friend was born on leap year in 1956. She celebrates more on the 28th but when it's a leap year, she has two birthday celebrations with different cakes and friends. She says it's a double dose of joy.

Blog Harbor Challenge - Week 2, Day 8
Prompt: Movie franchises are movie series that are connected by a common character, setting, or other overarching piece of material. They can be open-ended (James Bond, Fast and Furious) or finite (Harry Potter, Hunger Games), centered around a shared universe of content (Star Wars, Marvel Cinematic Universe), or continuations/re-packaging of a popular initial film (Despicable Me, Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission: Impossible, Toy Story, Transformers). For today's prompt, tell us what your favorite movie franchise is, as well as your favorite and least favorite movies in that franchise.

I was in high school when the first Jurassic Park was released. We saw it together, a group of eight or nine of us, collectively screaming and jumping whenever the Velocirapters had their screen time. I recall how the missing goat, shown only a few scenes prior in the T-Rex pen, effectively forshadowed the harrowing attack on the park vehicles. We were expecting it but it still thrilled and frightened us. It is one of my favorite franchises and all the movies offered something different and I can't say there was one I really didn't enjoy. The third installment is probably the weakest for me. I loved the return of the original cast member, Dr. Grant, but it wasn't as compelling a story line as the others.
My favorite would be a toss up between the first and the fourth movie, Jurassic World. I loved the homage they paid to the first film in the latest installment. I thought Chris Pratt and his trained pack of Velocirapters was fresh and exciting and injected a new life and rush into the franchise. I am anxiously awaiting the new one due out this summer.
