A terminal for all blogs coming in or going out. A view into my life.
Started July 1st 2019 for contests, etc. as other blogs are filling up and have other purposes.

Ferry boat between Solvorn and Ornes across the Lustrafjord i Sogn og Fjordane.

I'm starting a new blog because
BOOK
L'aura del Campo  (13+)
Online journal capturing the moment and the memory of moments. A meadow meditation.
#982524 by Kåre Enga in Udon Thani
had over 1,200 entries and that was getting close to full. I don't want to trim it by deletion. I did that once, much to my dismay. Will be used more for poetry.

BOOK
Hoarfrosts from Hell  (GC)
Anything I'm not happy about or that I don't want in my main blog!

is still hidden from the public and will remain so. It's more personal and full of angst. Was used for 30DBC for May 2020 and now used for Blogville.

BOOK
Enga mellom fjella  (13+)
Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills.

was full... until the number of entries was increased. A mixed blog, mostly stories.

I'll be linking to

FOLDER
Flash Fiction  (GC)
Short 300 word, more or less, "stories" .
#2190336 by Kåre Enga in Udon Thani
is where I put my flash fictions. Maybe someday I'll figure it out and have enough good ones to publish. Ratings vary and some are hidden from view.

I've started an appendix (I no longer have one personally) to keep track of my Space Cadet journals for Space Blog. It's a work constantly under construction. Mind the mess.
STATIC
Space Cadet - the never ending journal  (18+)
Journeys of an Alien Space crew.

I needed to start a folder for contests as there are so many deadlines and details to remember.

1 degree below freezing and dark at 10:08 p.m. New Moon on the 12th.

No plans when the sun comes up. It'll be a frosty morning, only warming up after noon. It's been 24 hours since my jab so I might take a shower before bed.

Regarding sake:

The sake should smell tropical, floral, like rice or fruity. If it smells burnt or musty, the sake is going bad. Drinking sake is quite similar to drinking wine.

How would you describe the taste of sake? Sake can be described as a type of clean-tasting and slightly sweet drink, with fruity and nutty scent. Its texture is smooth and light while the arome is fragrant.

Rice hulls have been used as steam boiler fuel, for cooking, heating and so on in many Asian countries, but now they are emerging as solid fuels ...

Which brings up a question. If sake has gone bad will it suffice for fuel? It's 14-20% alcohol.

... full of sake, the fermented rice wine that is Japan's national drink, if a pilot project to create sake fuel is a hit with locals in this mountain resort.

... gasoline prices, researchers in Japan are experimenting with an alternative biofuel based on the elements of traditional Sake fermented rice ...

... Take rice–add a little mold–add some water–a dash of yeast and voila you have the cleanest burning fuel on the planet. It's so simple that you–yes you–can make sake in your mouth. That's right – you can make sake in its most basic form right there between your north and south enameled grinders.

Alcohol engines date from the mid 1800s.

28 sunny degrees at 9:28. Hills still have that withered look. Some warmth would green them up.

Good news? Took a shower before going to bed last night. I'm vertical before coffee.

My winning weekly prompt: 1st Place - "Her hooves thundered through the WalMart parking lot."

In post-dystopian Dallas the halcyon days are mooing along.

The fresh greens next to the rutabagas were calling Rebecca Lynn. She had a craving for radicchio. She could smell them wilting. And the Cow-Plop powered cookers in Aisle 17 were on sale. She hoped she wasn't too late. The ground longpig was marked down on Sundays and her family was looking forward to chowing down on the former denizens of this dead-end town. In early spring there was little else to chew on.

Wrote: "Enter Mrs. W. W. Walker [72] If I just randomly write when a character inspires me I'll be okay. It's only 11:18 and I'm working on my coffee and a bowl of tuna-rice-celery-soup.

I have a hamburger (beef!) marinating in fruity vinagrette in the fridge for later.

37 calm degrees. May take out the trash. Very little is open. Look for forsythia?

Opinions of Mrs. W. W. Walker.

What do you think of milady?

Kwong: "She is the most dangerous among women. She doesn't care what you think."
Kago-san: "Better to say nothing. The winds report to her."
Li Vi: "Under that black top hat she has gears grinding."
Chen Rong: "She's British. I can trust her. Trust her to be cruel."
Poh: "She's more of a man then I'll ever be." (Chok: "Thank-God")
Chok: "She looks scarier than 黑帝 Hēidì's black dragon (the god of the North)"
Hoan: "I think of her as the West Wind that brings drought, death and dust."

I took out the trash. Yay, me. And took a walk. Yay, me. Without a hat and scarf. *Frown* Its quite light at 8 p.m. and quite chilly. 38 degrees. It's going to be chilly all week.

Blooming: native buttercups and yellowbells. Some tulips.

Writing "April shadows [41] "We are Yellow [42] Must be done by the 14th.
