As for Bflo... it was well-planned too and had interesting buildings and public institutions: but, there never was a sense of beauty or preservation until they had destroyed most of it. And today... the isms of class and race and the materialistic attitude of make your money and run... has further led to its decline.

This reminded me of my last vacation to San Francisco, though there we had a bit of an itinerary. If we don't we just end up doing nothing, which can be nice but not when you're in a place that screams for attention, yanno?
