Light in the Painting is about Jennalyn, a young artist who enters the advertising world in San Francisco, with an idyllic view on how she can make a difference. Jen searches for lost artistic ability and love from Napa Valley to Sugar Land, Texas. Does she succeed in making a difference and meet the man of her dreams or does she discover how cruel the world can be and completely lose her love for art; especially painting landscapes and portraits.
