Prologue The cruelty of mankind continues to amaze me, no matter how many examples I'm presented with...The illusions of love, kindness, joy... so different from the reality... the anger, pain, and loss that is so much more common. Those mortal fools think that they will be special, that they will overcome the odds...meh... they are more likely to provide myself or one of my brothers a meal long before they find this "true love" they dream so often about. But, I suppose, it's not my job to jugde them... it is meerly my job to make sure the darker of my kind meerly slate their thirst on these creatures, rather than cause un-nessicary death and choas... I am a gaurdian, by blood and by choice... |
