Sounds like what the washing machine is known for.

Not only does one part of each pair of my favorite socks disappear, so does some underwear.

Apparently it has a ferocious appetite, or the remnants lay at the bottom of the ocean or is strewn upon a distant shore.

Maybe the natives wonder what these strange things are.

Ha! Been there and am currently in the getting up in the middle of the night stage. In spite of the tiredness, and the stress that pups can bring, you brought a lot of humor to this piece.

If I may say so myself, the little hound is quite unique.
Still early days, as soon as is possible, photos will be taken, cute as can be - let the image speak in time for what words cannot paint.

I imagine a football shaped penguin with arms and legs sticking out...with webbed feet.

Ramisis the Hun

Here I was explaining about Rammesses , Ramesis, and Nefrititi, and got a long, cold, hard look ~ oh, and do not forget Luxor and all that Nile thing.

To really complicate matters, the Hun was mentioned in passing, and 'the Great' which was displaced.

Do not test other peoples' sense of humour / humor, especially when they were rammed by said Ramesis the Ram. It wasn't funny, not then, not now - no; it was not!

The Frontis piece shows Ramesis the Hun with his new bell - (this image may be replaced in future).
At least now we will have fair warning: Beware Ye for whom the bell tolls!
