The Prince is the story of two strangers, a young boy and girl, who each share one thing in common: they have both lost a parent. Set in the Kingdom of Avalla, a harsh, cruel, northern land bound by ice for half of each year, it is the tale of how these two young people grow into the adults that they become. One, choosing a life of darkness and deception, struggles to survive on wits alone. The other, meanwhile, succumbs to grief at the loss of one parent even while struggling for the attentions of the father that remains. Magic, temptation and deceipt their weapons, what ends they seek and what paths they choose to get there, they are the things of legend.
