Hello, I am glad you are back. EX Navy, no wonder...My second son and my brother are both ex-navy and they both think ahead like you in another post talked about. Eight kids...lucky you. I raised three of my own then helped my daughter raise five. Your house must be bubbling with personalities.

Yes my oldest son was an alcoholic. I couldn't help him. I could not get him to even TRY to stop. It didn't end well for us. He took his own life at age 45 on his birthday. When a person doesn't want help there is nothing you can do. We tried interventions, we tried walking away, alcohol and drugs won.

You sound like a kindred spirit to my brother. BE PREPARED always for any and everything. Don't give up on your loved ones, not everyone thinks ahead. Some of us less evolved people like to slide along life's slopes on our butts. Good luck sometimes we have to experience the bunders before we learn. It might help that you can always say "I told you so."
Teach yes, love harder.

Nope! no swelling or strange feelings. I do get this killer itch sometimes but it's not just in my feet, it's in different extremities at different times, but other than that, nothing.

Okay. Sure why not.

They can tell a lot by blood tests and visually as far as diabetes. If it's Type to you can control it with diet awareness. I know one person who lost enough weight that she's no longer diabetic.
Do your feet swell up or have any unique feelings in them?

Yes, I have been reading your entries with interest. You have a talent for expressing yourself with honesty. I can apreciate that. I have experienced some very similar things in my life, as well.

If I were to do a review, I would have to call out the punctuation (or lack thereof)
But perhaps, some of this may be intentional to allow your feelings to be expressed. You are the writer here, but I just wanted to give my thoughts on this. Another thing I need to mention is the incomplete wording, such as, in”S”, 2nd line. “Feels like the world is moving i slow motion.

I really do like your work and look forward to reading more of it. Thank you for sharing.

I agree. I think the reason so many people side with him, who have no reason to side with him, is because they've dug their heels in. They've been scorned by people who knew better than they did, and the only way out of it for them, mentally, is to not be in the wrong. So they convince themselves that they aren't. In order to not be wrong, Trump has to be good. So he is, and everyone who says he isn't is lying. I think getting out of this mess is going to be tricky, and I'm not sure we can. But out best shot is to stop putting Trump's followers on the defensive and get them to understand that they have a place among us if they want to have one--and they must have a place, otherwise they will never leave Trump's side. Why would they?

I'm sorry. Getting your house back and your daughter back is a blessing, albeit in disguise.I do hope the police get him first. He won't even realize what he did was so wrong. SADLY. Work on healing her, she needs your help. Thanks for sharing.

Dig this, a lot of people have been allowing other folks to effect how they feel about themselves, and catching feelings about it. I have never been the type of person sugar coat shit, so i ain't gonna start now. Fuck'em. I couldn't care less how other people think about me. If you ain't feeding, fucking, or financing me, shut the fuck up. If i'm too fat for your taste, don't look at me. If you don't like me because i'm a black man don't speak to me. And i will never let another person kill my vibe. To me, it's like y'all don't exist. I hope this puts things in focus for people letting others fuck up their day, crushing their joy. Smile, pass them by, and do you.

Mask

Ok, let's chat. I am fully vaccinated, and have been since the end of April. According to the CDC, folks that have been fully vaccinated for two weeks or more no longer have to wear a mask. Yesterday i went to the gym, and they are operating on the honor system. You don't HAVE to wear a mask if you are fully vaccinated, but if you are not, they expect you to put a mask on. But how are they gonna know? I keep my vac card on me at all times because i know it's gonna come to that sooner or later. Man, i walked into the gym with no mask on, and got the stink eye from a lot of people. Not like all up in my face, but you know, i caught many side-eye glances that had me feeling weird. So weird i put my mask on anyway and solved the whole problem. How would you handle this? Y'all been through this? What's your thoughts?

Time to fight!

Damn, i thought i was doing good getting past Monday, but here comes Tuesday, dragging ass like it got drunk last night. Time going slow as hell. Got to work at 5:30 am, and now it's only 7 am. But it's ok, i will make it. I am loath to talk about my family in a bad light, but i am having a problem with my wife. It could be a deal breaker. I will fight to keep my marriage going , but how long, if she aint willing to fight too? Guess this will be the fight of a lifetime. Wish me luck.

Boy, i just can't get a bead on where this something-good-this-way-cometh feeling i've been having for the last few months is coming from, but i like the feeling. The new job i was looking at feel through, just they hired a less experienced ( and thus a cheaper) person for the job. But i still have had blessings come to me. Money is coming at me from strange places, and hitting me right when i need it. So i am not mad, and i will continue top accept these blessings and living my life like i know God loves me. I am healthy, my family is doing good, so no complaints from me. See ya!

Man, ok, i admit it. I'm hooked. Hooked on binge watching these great tv shows. I guess i've been hooked for a while now. At the moment i'm watching Bosch. Cop show, i love those. But i've also watched the Umbrella Academy, NCIS, NCIS:LOS ANGELES, NCIS :NE ORLEANS, Elementary, Bones, and the Shadow Hunters. I hear there is a Lord of the Rings tv show coming out too. Been watching the Mandelorian, and i manage to watch an Avengers movie at least once over the weekends. Man they made a good one called the Irregulars, but i heard it won't be re-newed for a second season. Damn shame. They got a Game of Thrones prequel coming out also. There are more i've watched, and more i want to watch. Any suggestions?

Oh boy, they are looking at dropping the sentence of Chauvin because a juror had on a pro-George Floyd tee shirt at a rally. I don't know. How would we react if a white juror had helped convict a black man of a crime then we found a picture of him with a swastika on his chest, at a Proud Boys rally? This is gonna be a tough call. My brothers and sisters, i would ask that you brace yourselves for what is to come. And please protest peacefully. Maybe it won't go down like that, and maybe it will. God i hope they don't free that asshole. Damn.

STUPID CAT!

Still riding this feeling something good is coming my way. Can't say what it is, but i feel it. Today started with a good laugh. About 4 this morning, i'm getting ready for work,none the wise for what is coming. I'm sitting on the toilet, handling my morning business, when i look up, and, staring at me, is a kitten. My cat Boots ( we call her that because she is all black, except her back legs, and it looks like she has on white boots.) had kittens about a month ago. Two kittens that look just like her, down to the boots thing. Anyway, i look up and see this kitten coming at me, tail bushed up, fur on end all up her back, and walking side-ways. The kitten stops about two feet from me, hisses, takes a pounce at me(actually pouncing about an inch forward) then it turns, runs full speed at the wall, and attacks the poor unsuspecting wall. I laughed out loud and asked the stupid cat what it thought it was doing, and it turned to me, meowed loudly, then ran off. WTF!

Morning Ritual

Good Monday morning one and all! Don't ask me why i am so up-beat this morning, but i am. Maybe it's just the thrill of living. Woke up, spoke to God, and attacked the day by getting to work early and getting a jump on things. I feel great, and i'm ready to take on the next big problem. How you all doing? Secret: My day will be screwed up from the beginning if i don't feel hot water on me in the morning. What's part of your morning ritual that you have to do in order get your day off right?

Just found out i am being considered for a position at a different company: My resume kicks ass. It's doing the same thing i do now ( Metallurgicall technician) but with a raise out of this world. Roughly 10g s more a year than what i'm making now. Wish me luck!
