What if the actor elected Gov. of California in a recall election was born in the U.S.?
Physicists talk about parallel universes with earths nearly like our own. On one earth a man named George Bailey might be born in a town called Bedford Falls. On a parallel earth the town would be Pottersville and no one named George Bailey would be born there.

On the parallel earth in this story, most political figures are the same as on our earth with one very important exception. California had a recall election won by an actor, but the actor was a woman born in the United States, Elizabeth McEden. She could run for president in 2012.

Many of the people in the entertainment and journalism fields have different names or different personalities from similar people on our earth. Some of the people in the business field are different from our earth. With a different governor, California adopted some different laws from the California on our earth.
