Hi, I'm chip:

For a year, I was so fatigued that I feel asleep behind the wheel of my car a couple of times. Thank goodness I was at a stop sign.
I went to a Doctor who runs a sleep clinic. He discovered my sleep was interrupted 16 times an hour. He now has me using a CPAP, Continual Positive Air Pressure. (I think CPAP means this). Then I need more vitamins in my diet.

Now, I haven't a bit of trouble falling asleep during the day.

Hi:

Do not use passive verbs or passive phrases. This teaching is easier said than done, yet it must be done.

Steven King's book, On Writing tells how weak passive verbs are and how timid writers are the ones that use them.

He mentions that the book, Elements of Style, by Messrs Strunk and White says the same.
