Retirement was never a word that I really thought about often. It was a word related with old people, right? Wrong! If you work hard and plan appropriately, you too can own your Hoveround without monthly payments, be debt free, and retire at a young 89...just like me!
Definitely ask for a size too small for the vest, so slimming. A size too large and you'll be looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy and people will be poking you just for the fun of it. I would. Oh the stories you'll get to tell us....weeee!

Me? I have my soul job (I'm a custom woodworker with my own shop) and have absolutely no intentions of retiring. Being my own boss and master of my destiny (yeah, right), I figure I can take time to travel when I want. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I always thought if I did retire, I would tee up my alarm clock and smack it with my driver. Now, since I use my phone as my alarm clock, AND I love my golf clubs, I can't do that. LOL Moot point due to paragraph 2.

I have three daughters and since I'm a woodworker by trade, I offered to make a ladder for each one for the prospective groom to use along with a dowry of a grand. Funny ... no takers at all.
At least they had the good sense to space their weddings by a year or so. Whew.

This sets me thinking about all the tools I've used over the years to get me to where I am today, probably beginning with my first sliderule (which I still have). LOL Of course, I couldn't type on that. But then, I don't type very well on my latest computer. Another fine example of history repeating itself.
