A romantic novel with an interesting twist, breaking from the conventional fantasy. |

Amber has put romance on the back-burner in favor of higher priorities like raising her teenage son. That means little, however, to the relentless police officer determined to win her heart. This novel attempts to break away from the convential romantic fiction, exploring the nature of relationships gone wrong and society's false notion of "love". At the moment, there is only one completed chapter which sets the stage for the story to come. I've plotted the entire story, and will be adding to it as time permits. As it progresses, I will be focusing primarily on character development and the relationships that will drive my plot forward. As someone who has always felt a particular abhorance for romantic novels, I hope to produce a story that is less predictable and more grounded in reality. |
