I sometimes don't have enough words for what I would consider to be an entire short story. Usually I just have pieces and ideas. Rather than let them fall to the wayside, I've decided that I need to start a collection of blurbs. These blurbs could be nothing more than short summaries, ideas, scenes, or dialogues. I'm assuming that most of these will be dialogues that I want to collect and arrange into real scenes at a later date.
