Time Won't Wait!

Yet another blog. Been here so long I thought I ought to blog again. Besides, it is fun!

I've decided to blog again. I can only hope it will last longer than the last one. (Hah)

The main difference is I am beginning in the middle of July, in a severe drought, and we had a little rain today. Of course not enough, but anything is welcome. The smell of rain is so rare, and nice. I didn't realize how much I have missed it. I also cannot believe how chilly it is. Yet, I should believe it, as I was recently in what was supposedly summer in New Zealand (where I had to buy hats, sweaters and sheepskin booties), Australia and a bunch of other countries, which all were experiencing strange weather.

A big shout out to my friends (you know who you are). I am fortunate enough to still be in touch with some of them. This brings up some other strange topics. I mean how some so-called friends just go dark on you...nothing, crickets so to speak, not a sound. It can be family too. Strange phenomena this is. Life is full of them.

Today is my eleventh WDC anniversary. Gulp. There have been so many changes here I barely know where to begin. So I just began. And so I shall end for today.

Time to go drink a cup of tea now.

Welcome back and I pray that your surgery was successful! I hope you don't wait another 3 months to grace these pages. Hope Idaho has been relaxing and that you're enjoying the move. We had a white Thanksgiving but it didn't require a snow shovel!

I was just thinking this morning how nice it would be to get a real card or letter in my mailbox and not all those stupid flyers and advertisements.

But, if there's nothing else, I will take emails and text messages.

Sorry you're not feeling up to snuff (my grandmom used to say that) and hope you are tip top soon. So happy to read your post!

Good to see you here again and sorry to read you've not been well. Hoping it will soon be warmer and you'll feel better as a result. We had a weeks of almost summer weather, but it's back to winter now.

I lose count how many meals my cat has, but know he's ridiculously fussy. The things we do for our furry friends.

I suspect we all email less these days and fear communication between people is becoming a lost art in some ways. However, thank you for yours and I will email back soon.

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Hopefully Spring will be here soon and we can go outside and enjoy comfortable weather. Sounds like Hank found a home at the Ritz, and I'll bet he is enjoying everyday. Take care and get better soon!

And I am fortunate to know you! I don't know much about Idaho but I am glad you are safe and sound. When did you get a puppy? That's great! I just started back on my blog, too...great minds and all that, right? So glad you are okay, and you sound happy.
