I'm going to start today to record on a daily basis whatever happens to strike my fancy. So, it is a very cool breezy day. I just posted 5 short book reviews to The Monthly Reading Challenge. I'm suppose to put away some winter wood today from the woodpile outside but I'm playing hookey from work to write so starting this blog will get done.

I'm having a daily fight with a flock of English Sparrows that are trying to take over my barn. They are making a terrible mess so they have to go. I have destroyed several nests so far they don't leave but they get out of the barn when I am around. I'm just starting the fight so I guess I don't know how far I have to go to discourage them.

I'm trying not to spread myself to thin on WDC because I find so many things that are interesting here and I am trying to work on a new story. I really enjoy sitting at my desk with a cup of tea and reading blogs on WDC.

I think I need to do a survey on sexuality and gender. So many people have not had interactions with the LGBTQ community. I had a friend who was an "I for intersex" and know an "A for asexual" ... Historically there was an "E for eunuch" (and I suspect that category still exists).

So much easier to just suspend the labels and call people by their name/nickname or title: Vaughn, Officer Paula, Miss Jessica, Duck, Teacher Nessy... No one needs to inspect another person's underwear.

As for 'snowed under' ... well it's spring ... this too shall melt.

I agree with you. I think it takes a lot of faith to jump horses too! It was always something that amazed me to watch.

I think it is more than just short supply of a virtue. I think evil is a real thing and occasionally presents its own ideas of reality. Since humans live in organic forms and have been given the ability to make choices often, we get wrapped up in our little personal worlds and don't notice evil trying to take bake what is already won. So, the battle commences again.

House Florent plays to win. As I age, I read a lot of history I proceed to think every age has seen its own share of violence. There are times when peace prevails. I hope a time like that is coming toward us.

You're so right about evil raising it's head. If only saying calm down was enough.

I think we're in a similar age bracket and we have seen too much violence in our lifetime.

I thought Smashing Pumpkins was a game until I realized we are watching concerts of musicians.

I don't especially like the raspy tone of this singers voice however, the song and music caught my attention. It is lyrics with a little mystery and lots of meaning. It's a poem you can hang your own emotions on.

I'll go on any tour you want but, the money museum might be nice because, I would like to see what money looks like. I hear people talk about it all the time but, never get any in my own hands.

Fox in a box sounds like fun but, don't know if I'm smart enough to play the game. Teams seems like we have enough for a couple teams. In any event, If the concert runs late someone might want to point me in the right direction for getting back to the Inn. I've been so busy I can't find my own way.

Jaden Smith as a rap musician. He really is following in the footsteps of his dad at least to a point. I watched several of his songs This one seems to send a message.

I'm not a very good critic of Rap musicians because I rarely listen to rap. I do like Earth Gangs tone and abilities. They represent a social aspect of the Black people we don't check out very often. Because of Black History they are one of the people who should be heard for the message they present to people of the earth. They speak clearly which is one of the Rap abilities I prize.

Back Stage might be a rockin good time when three groups like these three get together.

Ghosts and Vampires might be fun and it is New Orleans after all.

I'm off to rest. Our internet is back for awhile so I will try to get back to daily posting.
